Message from Chairman of the Department
“Welcome to the Department of Information Technology at the School of Computing and Information Technology! Our department is dedicated to providing personalized care and support to our students throughout their academic journey.
 
At the Information Technology department, we prioritize teaching, research, and innovation in various computing areas, including web-based and mobile software development, networking, database administration, and cybersecurity. Our comprehensive programs cater to a diverse range of students, offering PhD, Master’s, Undergraduate, Diploma, and Certificate programs.
 
Our postgraduate programs are designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen specialization areas, such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, networking and distributed systems, and cybersecurity.
 
In addition to academic excellence, we offer extracurricular opportunities for our students, including our Tech Club, where students can engage in hands-on learning and networking activities. We also collaborate with industry players to provide career talks and guidance sessions, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their future careers in the ever-evolving field of Information Technology.
