Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Admission Requirements

The candidates must meet either of the following listed admission requirements
•  KCSE with a minimum aggregate grade of C+ and above with the following minimum grades to be considered:   Mathematics C plain and English C plain
•  KCSE Mean Grade C- (minus) or equivalent plus a Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, or
•  ‘A’ Level with two Principal passes and a subsidiary.

Graduation Requirements

a) To be considered for the award of the Degree:

  • A candidate who joined at year I must have taken and passed in fifty-one (51) units.
  • A candidate who joined at year II must have taken and passed in thirty-seven (37) units.
  • A candidate who joined at year III must have taken and passed in twenty-five (25) units.

b)  A candidate who qualifies for the award of the Degree shall be placed in one of the four classes as follows:

  • First Class Honours
  • Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
  • Second Class Honours (Lower Division)
  • Pass
